Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson feels he could've scored more this season.

Jackson has so far accounted for 13 goals and five assists in 39 games in the Chelsea shirt, but is not completely satisfied with his efforts.

"I think I should have scored more goals on the chances I had," he told Sky Sports.

"I wanted to play in the Champions League next season. But everything happens for a reason, and we have to try to challenge next year."

Jackson has a contract with Chelsea that runs until the summer of 2031.

"Even if I scored 10 or 15 goals, the most important thing is that the team does as well as possible, and that we make the supporters happy. Then the goals will come by themselves.

"I try to get better every day. The most important thing is to be available for the team, to help the team and to play. I miss some, but I try to create chances and score more goals. Hopefully next season will be better."
